Raj BJP expels ex-MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja after temple purification row

The Rajasthan BJP on Sunday expelled its formal MLA Gyan Dev Ahuja after finding him guilty of "indiscipline". A party order stated that the decision was taken on the instructions of state BJP President Madan Rathore. Ahuja had "purified" an Alwar temple with Gangajal following a visit by Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Tika Ram Jully, a Dalit man.
