Raj govt to encourage women to not wear 'ghoonghat' when casting vote

After Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot's call for eradicating the custom of 'ghoonghat' or veil, the state government has decided to encourage women to not wear 'ghoonghat' when they go to cast their vote during Panchayat elections this month. An official said posters have been prepared which will be pasted in villages and social media will be used for creating awareness.
