Raj HC upholds Asaram's life term in 2013 rape case, drops gangrape charges

The Rajasthan High Court upheld Asaram Bapu's life sentence in the 2013 rape case involving a minor at his Jodhpur ashram but dropped charges related to gangrape and criminal conspiracy, among others. The court reportedly called the verdict a "mixed bag" of good and bad news for him. It also directed Asaram, currently out on temporary bail, to surrender.
