Raj Kapoor was advised to make Bobby with Dharmendra, Hema: Rawail

Filmmaker Rahul Rawail, during a conversation with Ranbir Kapoor, said after failure of 'Mera Naam Joker', Raj Kapoor was advised to make 'Bobby' with established actors like Dharmendra and Hema Malini. "He started laughing and said, 'Look, I'll make this with Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) and a new girl'," recalled Rawail. Kapoor made 'Bobby' the way he wanted, he added.
