SS Rajamouli revealed he shot Simhadri's most violent scene — Jr NTR running with an axe — outside the Kerala Assembly for about 10 days. He also admitted 'Singamalai' is a Tamil word, not Malayalam, but used it anyway. Rajamouli shared this while promoting son SS Karthikeya's film Don't Trouble The Trouble.
