Rajasthan BJP leader apologises over remarks against Maharana Pratap

Rajasthan's BJP leader Gulab Chand Kataria on Tuesday apologised for his remarks against warrior king Maharana Pratap Singh. Speaking at a public event, Kataria said, "Our ancestors fought for 1000 years. The most recent example is Maharana Pratap. Was he bitten by a mad dog that he left his kingdom and went to...hills crying? Who had he done it for?"
