Rajasthan petrol pump dealers threaten statewide strike from June 1 over pricing issue

Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association has threatened an indefinite strike by petrol pump operators across the state from June 1 if their demands are not addressed by government. They've demanded a reduction in VAT, saying it pushes up fuel prices. Dealers said petrol pumps are under financial pressure as consumers are travelling to nearby states to buy petrol at lower rates.
