Rajasthan SHGs ship 10 lakh diyas made from cow dung to Mauritius for Diwali

Around 10 lakh eco-friendly diyas made from cow dung by self-help groups in Rajasthan have been shipped to Mauritius for Diwali celebrations this year. Women and young people from Tonk, Kota, Bundi, Baran, Jhalawar, Malpura and Niwai are involved in making them. The groups also produce organic manure, incense sticks, flower pots and idols of Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi.
