Rajasthan to change Veer Savarkar's biography in school syllabus

Rajasthan's Congress government has announced that changes will be made in RSS icon Veer Savarkar's biography to teach the "correct" history. Rajasthan Education Minister Govind Dotasra said that Savarkar has been glorified in the textbooks to suit the "political gains" of the RSS. The new syllabus will reportedly teach that Savarkar had said sorry to the British government.
