Rajasthan woman farmer grows apples at 50°C; turnover at ₹38 lakh

Santosh Devi Khedar planted 100 apple saplings in her fruit farm in Rajasthan's Sikar in 2015. With organic farming practices, each tree yields 80 kg of apples annually. This is much higher than Jammu and Kashmir's average of 50 kg per tree. Santosh gets an annual turnover of ₹38 lakh from just 1.25 acre.
