RCB have appointed Rajat Patidar as their captain for IPL 2025. Patidar has played 27 matches for RCB since 2021. He has scored 799 IPL runs, including one hundred and seven fifties. Patidar will become the eighth cricketer to lead RCB in IPL after Rahul Dravid, Kevin Pietersen, Anil Kumble, Daniel Vettori, Virat Kohli, Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis.
