Rajiv Gandhi assassination report cited in police security rules for Rahul's Indore event

Police have imposed 31 security conditions on Congress for Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' event in Indore on Saturday. The conditions cite the Justice JS Verma Commission report, which found security lapses during ex-PM Rajiv Gandhi's 1991 visit to Tamil Nadu, where he was assassinated. Police said the report was cited only to explain organisers' security responsibilities.
