Rajnath Singh flags delays in military projects amid 16-yr late delivery of 2 Tejas Mk1 jets

Defence minister Rajnath Singh flagged delays in executing critical military projects during a programme wherein state-run Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) handed over the last two Tejas Mk1 aircraft, reportedly ordered 16 years ago. "At times, by the time we receive equipment based on a particular technology, more advanced technology has already emerged elsewhere in the world," he stated.
