Ram Navami celebrations begin in Bengal, police on high alert

Ram Navami celebrations began across West Bengal on Sunday amid heightened police presence in the state to maintain law and order during the celebrations. More than 60 rallies have been planned for the festival in Kolkata. "Lakhs of Hindus are expected to hit...roads on Ram Navami. Any attempts to forcefully halt...celebrations won’t be tolerated," Union Minister Sukanta Majumdar said.
