Ram Navami declared public holiday in West Bengal

West Bengal government issued an order on Saturday declaring Ram Navami (on April 17) as a public holiday. According to the order, some establishments in Kolkata and other parts of the state may remain closed on April 17. Reacting to the move, BJP's Amit Malviya said Mamata made this move "to redeem her anti-Hindu image", but it was "too late".
