Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav elected as Nepal's 3rd Vice President

Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav was on Friday elected as the third Vice President of Nepal, the Election Commission of Nepal announced. Yadav, who is from the Janata Samajbadi Party, received 30,328 votes from 184 federal and 329 provincial parliamentarians. Yadav, who will take over from Nanda Kishor Pun, had in the past served as the country's Minister of Environment.
