Ranbir's great-grandfather Prithviraj played Lord Ram in 'Seeta'
Legendary actor Prithviraj Kapoor played Lord Ram in the 1933 film 'Seeta', produced by the East India Film Company. The Bengali-language film was screened at the Venice International Film Festival in 1934, becoming the first Indian talkie to do so. Almost a century later, Prithviraj's great-grandson, Ranbir Kapoor, will be playing the same role in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming directorial 'Ramayana'.
