Ranbir was the 1st choice for Ranveer's debut 'Band Baaja Baaraat'

Actor Ranbir Kapoor was the first choice for the 2010 Yash Raj Films-produced romantic comedy film 'Band Baaja Baaraat' but he had rejected the movie. Eventually, Ranveer Singh was cast in the lead role after he auditioned for the film, thus marking his Bollywood debut. Notably, Ranbir celebrates his 36th birthday today.
