Actress Rani Mukherjee was Tuesday conferred with a National award for her contribution to the cause of women’s safety and child trafficking in her film ‘Mardaani’. According to reports, Rani was selected by a panel of experts for the ‘Best Representation of the Cause of Safety, Security and Protection of Women and Girl Child’, at an event celebrating Women's Day.
