Ranjan Pai eyeing another 42% stake in BYJU'S arm Aakash: Report

Manipal Group Chairman Ranjan Pai is eyeing to acquire a 42% stake in BYJU'S subsidiary Aakash, in which he already owns about 40% stake, The Hindu reported. The stake that Pai is planning to buy is collectively owned by BYJU'S Founder Byju Raveendran and BYJU'S-parent Think and Learn. Pai has offered to buy the stake at valuation of $700-800 million.
