In a Ranji Trophy 2024 match at Thumba, Jalaj Saxena of Kerala routed Bengal with career-best figures of 9-68. He took the last nine wickets of the Bengal innings to finish with a career-best haul of 9-68. Saxena's figures are also the first nine-wicket haul by anyone against Bengal.
