Ranji Trophy round 2, day 3 round-up: Gaikwad slams quickfire ton

Maharashtra captain Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a century in the second round of the Ranji Trophy on Sunday. He went on to score 145, although defeat appears imminent for his side. Indian Test stalwart Cheteshwar Pujara scored an unbeaten 75, while the stars with the ball were Rajasthan's Aniket Chaudhary and Manav Suthar who took nine wickets between them.
