Ranveer was asked ₹10 cr in extortion threat, number linked to US: Report

Ranveer Singh was demanded ₹10 crore in an extortion threat, which has been tracked to an American phone number, that he received via a WhatsApp voice note last week, NDTV reported. Relevant US authorities have been contacted for further investigation, said Mumbai police. Investigators have indicated that the voice matched to Harry Boxer, a close aide to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
