Ranya Rao earned ₹12-₹13 lakh in each trip from Dubai by allegedly smuggling gold: Report

Actress Ranya Rao, the stepdaughter of a senior IPS officer, earned around ₹12-₹13 lakh on each of her trips from Dubai by apparently bringing back gold, India Today reported citing sources. She reportedly travelled to Dubai 30 times. Ranya was arrested after she was caught smuggling nearly 15 kg of gold worth ₹12.56 crore at an airport in Bengaluru.
