Ranya Rao's IPS step-father Ramachandra sent on compulsory leave

Karnataka government has announced that actress Ranya Rao's IPS officer step-father Ramachandra Rao has been sent on "compulsory leave" with immediate effect. Ramachandra has been handling the charge of DGP of Karnataka State Police Housing Corporation. An official government order on the same didn't mention any reason for the move, which comes after her arrest in gold smuggling case.
