Rape accuser didn't go to Ronaldo's hotel room to play cards: Mother

Cristiano Ronaldo's mother Dolores Aveiro publicly defended her son over the rape allegations against him, saying that accuser American Kathryn Mayorga did not go to Ronaldo's Las Vegas hotel suite in 2009 to play cards. Mayorga has accused Ronaldo of raping her and paying her $375,000 in hush money. The 34-year-old forward has rejected the claims, saying sex was consensual.
