Rape convict Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal surrenders in Goa after Supreme Court order

Tehelka founder Tarun Tejpal surrendered before a Mapusa court in Goa on Monday in the 2013 rape case and was sent to jail. The Bombay High Court had overturned his 2021 acquittal on August 6 and sentenced him to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment. The Supreme Court had later refused exemption from surrender.
