Rape survivors who become pregnant must be told about their legal rights: SC

The SC on Friday issued a notice to the Centre on a plea for setting up medical boards in states and UTs to decide cases of unwanted pregnancies of over 20 weeks for termination. "If a woman is raped and is pregnant, she must be told about her legal rights," said the SC bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde.
