Rare 5-arc 'twinned' rainbow lights up US skies

A rare five-arc 'twinned' rainbow lit up Florida’s Pensacola sky. Unlike typical rainbows, twinned ones split into two primary arcs from the same base due to different raindrop sizes. Skywatchers spotted primary rainbow, secondary rainbow and faint supernumerary arcs (extra pastel fringes inside the main arc). Such displays require precise conditions of sunlight, moisture and droplet size.
