Rare caracal photographed for first time in Rajasthan tiger reserve

A caracal has been photographed in Rajasthan's Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve for the first time. The wild cat was spotted on camera during the reserve's Phase IV survey. "The strong protection regime of Mukundra Hills Tiger Reserve serves as...an umbrella to protect elusive small cats like the caracal," Rajasthan's Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma wrote on X while sharing the photo.
