Rare chameleons worth ₹1 cr seized from WB railway station

Two chameleons assumed to be from one of the rarest species of the reptile, estimated to be worth around ₹1 crore, were seized from a man at Malda railway station in West Bengal. The culprit had arrived from Assam at the station with the reptiles placed inside a box. The chameleons were handed over to the forest department.
