Rare cotton ball-like Mammatus clouds spotted in China, video goes viral

A video purportedly showing the sky covered with clouds looking like cotton balls in China's Hubei province has gone viral. The unusual cloud formations, known as Mammatus clouds, are usually accompanied by severe weather patterns. Mammatus clouds indicate there is a chance of hail, heavy rain and lightning in the vicinity.
