Rare deep-sea fish with transparent head and green eyes filmed in Pacific Ocean

Scientists have captured rare footage of a deep-sea creature with a transparent head and unusual green eyes in the depths of the Pacific Ocean. The fish, known as the barreleye, was spotted around 90 kilometres off Monterey Canyon, at a depth of about 1,970 feet. The footage may help scientists understand how deep-sea fish use vision in low-light ocean zones.
