Rare elephant trunk-like waterspout forms near Odisha's Puri, video goes viral

An elephant trunk-like waterspout formed near Astaranga coast in Odisha's Puri district. The meteorological department said the phenomenon was caused by unstable weather conditions in Bay of Bengal and advised fishermen to remain vigilant. Waterspouts are rotating funnels of air and water mist tangled in strong gusts that reach from cloud's base all the way down to the water below.
