Rare 'fire tornado' seen in British Columbia amid wildfires

A video has surfaced online showing a rare "fire tornado" sweeping through British Columbia as wildfires raged in the Canadian province. The 'fire tornado' was seen around Gun Lake in North Pemberton on August 17. Fire whirls or fire tornadoes are an "incredibly rare phenomenon," created when there's a combination of high fire intensity, strong winds and air mass instability.
