A rare iridescent cloud was spotted in the sky above Indonesia's Jonggol. As per WABC-TV Chief Meteorologist Lee Goldberg, the phenomenon takes place when small water droplets or ice crystals inside a cloud diffract sunlight into a rainbow. "These vibrant displays usually appear near the sun and can last for only a few moments," he added.
