Rare Mishmi takin herd spotted in Sikkim's Bakuchaang, video surfaces

A rare pack of Mishmi takins was spotted at Bakuchaang in Sikkim by staff members of the state's Tourism and Forest department. The video showed the animals, which are among lesser-known large mammals in the region, roaming in their natural habitat in Eastern Himalayas. The Mishmi takin is a large goat-antelope species found in parts of India, China and Myanmar.
