Rare pacific golden plover seen for 1st time in Corbett Tiger Reserve

A rare migratory bird, the Pacific Golden Plover, has been spotted at Uttarakhand's Corbett Tiger Reserve. Wildlife enthusiast and nature guide Nafees Ahmed recorded the bird near a small river, marking what is believed to be the species' first documented sighting in the region. Native to Siberia and Alaska, the bird migrates to India and other Asian countries during winter.
