Rare pink diamond sold for world record ₹477 crore at auction in Hong Kong, pics released

A rare pink diamond was sold for HK$453,223,000 (around ₹477 crore) in Hong Kong on Friday, setting a world record for the highest price per carat for a diamond sold at an auction. The 11.15-carat Williamson Pink Star diamond was auctioned by Sotheby’s Hong Kong. The bidding war for the pink diamond lasted 20 minutes.
