Rare puppy with green fur born in Italy; pics surface

A rare puppy with green fur was born on a farm on the island of Sardinia in Italy earlier this month. It is thought that this happens when pale coloured puppies have contact in their mother's womb with a green pigment called biliverdin. The colour will continue to fade so as the animal gets older.
