Rare red warning issued as 114-mph Storm Éowyn hits UK

The Met Office has issued rare red weather warnings as Storm Éowyn hit the United Kingdom and Ireland. Red is the most serious weather warning the Met can issue, meaning dangerous weather is expected and people are urged to stay at home. A record gust of 114mph was recorded at Ireland's Mace Head, while 7,15,000 premises are without power.
