Rare smog puts Sydney's air quality on par with Delhi, pic surfaces

Air quality in Sydney plummeted on Tuesday to levels among the world's worst as smoke from bushfires in the north blanketed the city, taking large swathes into index ranges on par with New Delhi, said Reuters. Although smog is rare in Sydney, grey clouds were seen over Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The AQI hit 161 in some areas.
