A rare copy of 1938 edition of Action Comics No. 1, which introduced Superman, was sold for $15 million (over ₹135 crore) to an anonymous collector. The comic was once stolen from actor Nicolas Cage's home and returned years later. The previous record for sale of a comic was set in November, when pristine Superman No. 1 fetched $9.12 million.
