Rare Titanic survivor's life-jacket auctions for ₹8.39 crore

A rare life-jacket worn by a Titanic survivor has been auctioned for £670,000 (around ₹8.39 crore). Laura Mabel Francatelli was a first-class passenger on the ship that sank 114 years ago. "This lifejacket presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity for collectors, it's the only example to ever be offered for auction from a Titanic survivor," the auction house's MD told CNN.
