Rare tooth-in-eye surgery helps man regain sight after 20 years

A rare tooth-in-eye surgery restored vision in a Canadian man who had been blind for 20 years. Doctors used part of his tooth to implant a lens in his eye, giving him the ability to see again after two decades. Also known as osteo-odonto-keratoprosthesis, the surgery is usually done when regular corneal transplants do not work.
