Rare tree kangaroo born in US zoo after 14 years, video released

A zoo in the US has announced the birth of a tree kangaroo for the first time since 2008. The Matschie's tree kangaroo is native to Papua New Guinea and there are fewer than 2,500 of the species remaining in the wild. A video of the newborn has shown it poking its nose out of its mother's pouch.
