Rarely-seen fish with transparent head & green eyes spotted in US, video released

Scientists recently captured footage of a rarely-seen deep-sea fish with a bulbous, transparent head and green orb-like eyes. The footage, captured near California coast, showed the barreleye fish and was released by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) in the US. The fish, which lives at depths of 2,000-2,600 feet, has only been spotted by MBARI researchers nine times.
