Actress Rashmika Mandanna's next film will be based on the legendary Carnatic vocalist and Bharat Ratna awardee MS Subbulakshmi, according to Glute. While the makers are yet to officially announce the film or its cast, an update is expected on September 16, Subbulakshmi's birth anniversary. Sai Pallavi was reportedly the first choice, but faced scheduling issues amid filming 'Ramayana'.
