Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2026 to mark end of Naxalism: Govt

Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan announced that Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2026, to be held on October 31 in Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, will celebrate the end of Naxalism. Over 5,000 people from 126 formerly Naxal-affected districts will attend. CAPFs and state police forces will march before PM Modi. National School of Drama will present performances by 2,000 artists from affected districts.
