Ratan Tata-backed UrbanClap to end wedding, other non-core services

Gurugram-based home service marketplace UrbanClap is shutting down its non-core businesses including wedding and photography services. It will now focus on the two categories 'beauty' and 'home', which contribute over 70-80% to its revenue. Founded in 2014 by Abhiraj Bhal, Raghav Chandra and Varun Khaitan, Ratan Tata-backed UrbanClap has raised over $185 million to date, as per Crunchbase.
